Freshly cut flowers, sweet red cherries, mint and cinnamon are all laced together in the 2012 Moulin Riche. A wine of considerable aromatic presence and finesse, the 2012 offers lovely balance in an understated gracious style that is quite different from the more muscular style of Leoville-Poyferre. Sweet floral notes reappear on the nuanced finish. The blend is 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 7% Petit Verdot.
