Chateau La Mission Haut Brion has been under the same ownership and management as Chateau Haut-Brion since 1983. Cultivated by monks until the French revolution, the Chateau produce approximately 10,000 cases per annum. It is a strong contender for first growth status. Their red is consistently powerful with dark plum and earthy notes, requiring at least 10 years cellaring. They also do one of Bordeaux’s top whites. Their white wine has received the maximum of 100 points by reviewers.
